Design Criteria

Design storm return periods (years)
2-year, 10-year, 25-year

Water quality volume method
On-site SWM ponds reduce post-development peaks to pre-development for the 2-, 10-, and 25-year storms at each discharge point (small ponds <25 ac drainage; large 25–64 ac; >64 ac treated as regional). Facilities may include detention, retention, extended detention, infiltration, and sedimentation ponds for peak control and water-quality benefits. Full DCM hydrology is in other section PDFs.

On-site SWM ponds shall be designed to reduce post-development peak rates of discharge to existing pre-development peak rates of discharge for the 2, 10, and 25 year storm events

Peak flow calculation method(s)
