Water quality volume method
MSD Rules & Regulations require BMPs to treat a water quality volume based on runoff from 1.14 inches of rainfall. Structural BMP design methodology adopts Chapters 3 and 5 of the Maryland Stormwater Design Manual (2000). Flood detention: release rates not to exceed allowable 2-year and 100-year 24-hour events (NRCS TR-55).
